Snooki’s Dating Reality; Friend or Foe?

On Episode 10 of Jersey Shore Season 4, we see Snooki cheating on Jionni with Vinny, only to lie about her actions and have selective memory of the evenings events.

It’s YourDatingDiva’s belief that subconsciously, Snooki is trying to put an end to her on again off again tumultuous relationship with Jionni. When her best friend Jenny, aka JWOW, calls her out on her behavior, Snooki does not take too kindly to Jenny’s honesty.

Jenny reminds that Snooki that if she really wanted to be with Jionni, she would not have ended up sleeping with her roommate and that the relationship between her and Jionni is over. Jenny goes on to say that the damage is done and she needs to move on. Snooki storms off and tells Jenny that she should not be talking about her behavior. Snooki says that is Jenny is a real friend she should instead only be expressing thoughts that would make Snooki feel better. Snooki’s reaction is to scream and storm out of the room telling Jenny that she is not a her friend.

When our relationships are in crisis, do we lean on our friends to tell us what we want to hear? Does anyone want to hear the truth about the state of their partnership? Or, do we use our friends as a crutch to make light of the situation and make us feel better? Here is a deleted scene that ended up on the cutting room floor…

Snooki and Jionni’s Relationship Clairvoyants: Do Your Friends Know You Better Than You Know Yourself?

In this deleted scene from MTV’s Jersey Shore Season 4 Episode 8, we find ourselves on another date with Vinny and DJ Paulie D. Instead of getting romantic, the boys converse about the volatile relationship that Snooki has with Jionni. It seems that they predict the demise of the relationship. The way the producers are setting it up, this may in fact be the case.

Snooki, on the other hand, swears that she loves this man, and that she wants to have his babies. She also swears that he treats her very well. All of her Jersey Shore roommates are also very close friends of Snooki’s, who have seen a few of Snooki’s men come and go. From the musings in the house, it seems that they do not agree that she is being treated well. They feel that Jionni should have known who he was dating as Snooki has a big personality that she does not hide. This is no shy girl next door that he got into a relationship with.

For this, and other reasons, the musings and general sentiment around the Jersey Shore house, in Italy, is that Snooki and Jionni will surely breakup. So do you think Snooki’s friends know her better than she knows herself? Watch this deleted scene…
