It’s Not You It’s Me in DC; A DC Dating Story

A couple of months ago we set Jack up with Jill. Jack was very excited about meeting his It’s Just Lunch DC date. She is a cyclist from Connecticut who loves horses.

Jill, on the other hand, fought with Jenna as she did not think they would be a good match. “You are still single right?” Jenna asked, “And you have an hour to meet a great guy right?” Jill agreed!

Jack and Jill went out in Gainesville, VA one afternoon, and completely hit it off. They both ordered the same shrimp tempura sushi roll and hot sake. We knew they would hit it off. They are both very polished and well rounded individuals. They talked for so long that they lost the time and Jill was late for a meeting with her new client.

These two decided to go inactive for each other and Jill thanked Jenna for convincing her to meet such a great guy. Then we got a phone call the other day. It was Jill, she was calling Patti to tell her she wanted to become an active member again.

When Patti inquired why, Jill told us that after 2 months Jack broke her heart! He said she was a great woman but that the problem was him, not her, “It’s me not you Jill.” Here’s how that went…

So Patti set Jill up with a Jason. Jason is a guy that we know 100% will make Jill laugh. We told him to be especially funny with this woman. She deserves to laugh and Jason deserves a great woman like Jill.
